Scope and method of the Digital Providers register

Digital Providers registers 41 Australian providers of web, software development and IT services. The register records three kinds of organisation: 20 web and development agencies, 11 IT and infrastructure providers, and 10 technology consultancies.

Capabilities

Each provider is mapped to the capabilities its own site describes. 9 capabilities have enough providers for a dedicated page. The largest are web design (16), cloud services (11), custom software development (9) and technology consulting (9). Capability tags describe services offered, not certification or skill level; no partner badges or vendor accreditations are recorded. Server hosting (6) and managed IT services (4) sit alongside the web and software work, so one register covers a build and the systems that keep it running.

Evidence standard

A provider enters the register only with official Australian evidence. For 25 providers that is a published Australian office; for 14, a statement of Australian operations. A city or state appears only where the site names one, which applies to 20 providers. Serving Australian clients remotely is not treated as proof.

Exclusions

No client lists, case study claims, uptime figures, pricing tables or reviews. No ranking: the register is alphabetical from end to end. Summaries restate what the cited pages say, in plain terms.

Maintenance

Source pages for the current register were read between 18 September 2026 and 24 September 2026, and each provider page shows its own read date. A read date is never moved forward without a new read. To amend or remove a provider record, email support@digitalproviders.com.au, citing the provider page here and the official page that supports the change.
